Stupinigi Hunting Lodge

The Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi, a sumptuous Savoy residence dedicated to hunting and parties, is a monumental jewel located in Turin. Built starting in 1729 to a design by the acclaimed architect Filippo Juvarra, this residence is one of the architectural treasures of the city.

Currently owned by the Mauritian Order Foundation, the Palazzina di Caccia has undergone important restoration work and is now open to the public as a museum. Thanks to conservation efforts, this extraordinary 18th-century complex has been preserved in its original splendor.

The Palazzina di Caccia is a true open-air museum, wherevisitors can admire the original furnishings, paintings, cabinet-making masterpieces and drawings of the area from the time. Its construction began in 1729 based on a design by Filippo Juvarra, and was completed during the 18th century with expansion and improvement interventions by other renowned architects, including Benedetto Alfieri, Giovanni Tommaso Prunotto, Ignazio Birago di Borgaro, Ludovico Bo and Ignazio Bertola.

The Stupinigi Hunting Lodge represents an authentic journey through time, offering visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the art, history and architectural beauty of a bygone era.
